The employer is only looking at veterans who have exited the armed services within the past 12-24 months AND with very relevant experience within the past 6 months.
The location is about an hour north of Charlotte.
There is about 75% travel required. You are home on weekends, and you travel Monday-Friday about 75% of your work days (so in a month of 4 weeks, on average you are traveling Monday-Friday for 3 of those weeks, on separate trips, returning home for the weekends).
The position is a technical support representative. The employer manufactures industrial equipment, and when a customer company buys a piece of equipment, the tech rep flies to the customer's site with the new equipment, sets it up, troubleshoots it, and trains the customer how to use it. The work while in the NC office involves maintenance support of those customers.
Extremely good pay, good benefits, good career progression.
A mix of electronic or electrical, IT/networking, and maybe mechanical experience is ideal, but any mix of those types of experience is great, and they will train you.
